Tasting Notes

The grapes used to create Bethany Creek Shiraz were crushed, destemmed, and left on skins for fermentation. The juice was then racked and pumped. After maturation in French and American oak barrels, this delightful Shiraz shows a deep red colour lined by purple hues. The fragrant bouquet is perfumed with ripe cherries, plums and florals. This elegant Shiraz is medium bodied and youthful on the palate, filled with blackberry, plum, red cherry and floral characters. These magnificent flavours are supported by toasty oak nuances and a fine tannin structure, ending the drink in a soft finish. This dazzling red wine tastes great with beef casserole, roasted vegetables and Cheddar cheese.
